INFORMING AND EDUCATING

Our company was created by former educators, so we understand the need for information and understanding when it comes to retirement options here in Texas. Our goal is to simply help you know what your options are so YOU can make an informed decision about your future.

We have over 500 years of education experience between our associates; therefore, we have had the unique opportunity to present to school administrators and faculties throughout Texas. What we hear most often is "I didn't realize there would be such a difference between my salary and pension at retirement!"  We call it your income gap and It can be a surprising reality for some. This is why we do what we do.  We want to help you find ways to supplement that gap and move into a time in your life that should be promising and enjoyable.

WHAT SHOULD I DO FIRST?

We believe the first thing to know is your shortfall; the difference between your income the day before you retire and day after you retire.

If you haven't done so already, we suggest you create a "My TRS" Account and use the calculator provided to get an idea of what to expect.  We also provide a worksheet when we meet which also projects what your shortfall will be.

Then we say, pick up the phone and call us!  We would love the opportunity to discuss possible options and ideas with you.
